I design websites
that are easy to build
and easy to run.
I’m Jaci, a web and graphic designer from the Philippines. For more than eight years I’ve designed and built websites for small businesses, agencies and US product teams, mostly in Figma, WordPress and Elementor.
(01) My story
How I got
here.
My first design job was a production line. At Personiv I designed two small-business websites a day, for three years. By the time I left, that was over 2,000 sites.
You learn fast at that pace. There’s no time to second-guess a layout, so you get good at making the right call on type, colour and spacing the first time.
After that I spent a few months as a web programmer at Northpoint Development Bank, building and maintaining their web apps. It was a short stint, but it changed how I design. I know what a developer needs from a file, and what goes wrong when they don’t get it.
Since 2019 I’ve been with BuilderWire, a remote team in Massachusetts. I design their e-commerce and catalog sites, write the style guides, and work directly with the developers who build them.
(02) How I work
A few things
I stick to.
Design it to be built
Every file I hand over has real spacing, real content and every hover and empty state worked out. Developers shouldn’t have to guess what I meant.
Keep it editable
Most websites are run by people who aren’t designers. I build in WordPress and Elementor so your team can change a page without breaking it, or calling me.
Say things early
Working across time zones means problems don’t fix themselves overnight. If a deadline or a decision is at risk, you’ll hear it from me first, not on launch day.
Reuse what works
Good templates and style guides aren’t shortcuts, they’re how quality stays consistent. At BuilderWire they cut our new project setup time by about 30%.
